I. This website biomedinteg.org is dedicated to Biomedical Knowledge Integration (BMKI), the decades-long explorations of Prof. Bao.  (Email To: hanfeib@gmail.com). The followings are the works that Prof. Bao has published or engaged in:

         (i)The nearly one hundred publications of Prof. Bao in these fields: Please see “Publications” in this site;

(ii)The books:
   (2-1)Author of <The Theory Of Biomedical Knowledge Integration>(in Chinese);
   (2-2)Chief Translator of <Handbook of Medical Informatics> (in Chinese, the original work in English edited by JH van Bemmel and MA Musen);
   (2-3)Editor:<Some Applicational Problems of Stereology>(a teaching material, not a formal publication).

(iii) The other publications
The other publications of more seventy, covering the fields of the modern medicines and the Traditional Chinese Medicines (TCMs), the medical informatics, ontology, knowledge expressions and operations and the program developments, the discussions about the theories of fractal, self-organization, chaos, mutation, etc.

(iv) The experience in medicine
includes the education of the modern medicine in Shanghai Medical University, clinical medicine (with experience of physician after graduation) and basic medicines (with experience of teaching and researching).

II. Key points to be explored in the current project   

“The Novel Views About the Mechanics of Molecule Biomedicines including COVD-19”

(i)The philosophic confusions in the molecule biomedicines
*Why so big panic the pandemic of COVID-19 brings to us;
*The fatal cytokine storm in COVID-19 is a chaos of integration of the cytokine functions;
*The different stories of simplicity and complexity in the life systems.

(ii)The pattern mechanics in the super-complex mechanics
Three types of the mechanics oriented on the methodology of cognition;
*The complex systems mechanics (CSM);
*The Description of the Generalized Mechanics (GM) of the MBMs;
*The pattern-driven mechanics (PDM); 
*The different backgrounds of the therapeutics tell the different stories;
*The complex or chaotic medicines (CCMs);
*The first paradox of the MBMs;
*Two completely different stories—diagnosis and treatment;
*The Code Knowledge World (CKW) — from INTERNET to the MBMs.

(iii)The Pattern-based knowledge base of the cytokine storm and the programming
*The computable definitions of medical patterns (MPs) and their linkers;
*The computable definitions relationships;
*The Automatically Semantics Operations and Calculations (ASOCs);
*The program development for ASOCs, especially for SARS-COV 2;
*The calculations about the the Central Dogma and the genome of SARS-CoV-19.

III. The free services for medical researches and clinical practices
    The efforts In BMKI are being made to provide the free services for medical researches and clinical practices, including two aspects:

(i)The pattern-oriented knowledge bases about SARS-CoV-19 or other virus-infected diseases in the forms of ontologies and other informatics dada bases;

(ii)The programs for the automatic semantic operations and calculations (ASOCs) based on the Pattern Medicines.
